OUR STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS
The Ark of Jehovah God Incorporation was founded on the love of God. We serve and provide daily necessities to individuals, community members, and families struggling to secure their basic daily needs and resources. The goal of our impact is to positively affect the lives of those in need, because of extreme poverty and destitute living conditions. Many of these people are facing life -threatening circumstances due to a lack of finances, and established communal resources needed to manage themselves and their families. We are entirely privately funded by donors. Our outreach programs serve as Humanitarians, Helpers, and Hospitality members, and will remain free to all people in need. For I was hungry, and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me. Mathew 25 35:36 NIV
OUR HISTORY
The Ark of Jehovah God, believes that we all have a lot more in common than we think. That every child – like every person – is of equal worth and value, indispensable and that each of us has a part to do. We are people who know that we can’t afford to lose a single child to hunger, violence, disease, or neglect and that when children grow up healthy, educated, and safe, everyone wins.

After seeing and listening to the heart-breaking stories of individuals, mothers, and children crying out for help because of extreme poverty, food insecurities, the lack of clothing, as well as shelter in communities and remote villages in Africa, Julene put faith into action with her passion in 2013. She began her journey rooted in helping people in her own community of Liberia, Guinea and other West African nations, that struggle daily to get basic necessities. It has always been Julene’s passion and love to help people. Being from Liberia, West Africa and having endured the same experiences, Julene can truly relate to the pain and hardships people are facing.
There are millions of people with no access to food, thereby going hungry every day. Food insecurity is a global issue. The Ark of Jehovah God (TAOJG) is here and committed to helping people in need. TAOJG shows that all hope is not lost, and that God loves all people. Everyone deserves a fighting chance, and they do not have to fight alone, because together, with everyone's help, we can lend a helping hand to One person, One family, One neighbor, One nation at a time.
Along with her passion and fervor for guiding people to resources, Julene brings 17 years of experience in Administration, Finance, Organizational Leadership for non-profits, and Event Planning Services.

Sharon has always had a strong desire to help people. She has a strong sense of love, compassion, and justice for all people, especially the less fortunate, and animals; she is a strong advocate for the voiceless. Sharon's parents instilled these qualities in her, and she has dedicated her life to assisting people, be it, physically, emotionally or spiritually.
Sharon has continued her mission to help people, to the best of her abilities. She has volunteered at group homes, to assist mentally disadvantaged adults, and children, as well as mentored neighborhood teenagers. Sharon's hospitality surpasses most; she welcomes others into her home, for meals. Her passion moved her to open a cake and catering business, which serves the Tri-State area; she provides the experience of great, and authentic, home cooked food. She was featured in New Jersey Bride Magazine, for her beautiful cakes. Sharon has also owned an active landscape design business for the past 20 years; she continues to beautify and improve the outdoor living spaces for her clients.
When the opportunity to serve The Ark of Jehovah God arose, Sharon had no hesitation in her decision to come on board. To Sharon, it is a true honor to extend compassion to the less fortunate; her services of providing food, water, and other resources, is one that she does with passion.
Sharon feels that all of the work that she has done up until now, has prepared her to help the masses, worldwide, one person, one family and one nation at a time.

Maryann Johnson – Board Member Maryann, is passionate about helping and giving back to her communities. She has seven years of experience in leadership, with various non-profit organizations. Maryann has worked with children, women, and families in Liberia, Ghana, and other West African nations. Throughout the years, Maryann has witness sadness, and the pain in the eyes of the people who have suffered from food insecurity, and insufficient shelter, which has greatly impacted their well-being. Being such an integral part of The Ark of Jehovah God, brings Maryann so much joy; she always speaks of being “a servant of God”. The Ark of Jehovah God allows her to make a real difference in the lives of God’s people. She is excited to be a part of this mission, which is a true calling, to help those in need.

With an expressed passion for helping others, Maurice Castillo, founder of Black Castle Holdings LLC, has joined The Ark of Jehovah God, to lend assistance in ensuring that the needs of global families can be met. Global food insecurity, is a scary reality that many, poverty stricken families face. Mr. Castillo's goals are united in addressing the needs of these families, facing the reality of lacking in daily necessities and resources.
